of Canada’s 100 Anniversary!

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

October 17th
Sheridan Rondeau author of the book: “Dear Tony” – a memoir
about Alzheimer’s disease and the challenges for the person
with it and their family members. All done with a touch of
humour!
October 24th
Lori Knowles, a local Muskoka author, will share her summer
sell out novel called: “Summers with Miss Elizabeth.” Knowles
explores the intricacies of family generational dynamics while
skillfully weaving in the destructive family skeletons that jump
out of the “old money” Muskoka cottage.
November 7th
Social worker Bernadine Togertz will be discussing the topic of
estranged adult children. Why do they cut off ties and
communication with their parents? And more importantly
how can we move from conflict to connection again. What
can be done to help repair these broken relationships? This
issue is more prevalent than we may think.
November 14th
Do you have a plan for your future health and personal care?
While many of us think it’s a good idea, in reality less than 20
percent of us actually have a plan. Join Dr. Pam McDermott as
she shows us how we can take control of our health care
journey through advanced care planning.
Dessert is served between 6: 30 and 6: 55 pm.
Presentations begin at 7 pm.
