Bidding Starts Sunday April 7
Trinity’s 2024 Silent Auction Bidding is about to begin …
Our Silent Auction is bigger and better this year! There are more items and you can place your bids directly online and know the status of your bid at all times.
This is your chance to get some great experiences, services and items.
Items donated by the people of Trinity United Church will be on offer for bidding.
Items available include:
- Baking
- Floral bouquets
- Woodworking
- Maple syrup
- Dinner-dance
- Gift cards
- Driving you to errands
- Pottery classes
- Gourmet dinners
- Outings on the water
- AND MORE …
Proceeds to support the ministry of the church.
You will see a complete list of items on offer, with a photo, the donor’s name, the description, the suggested price. Click on the item in the list for more details (if any), to see current bids, and to place your bid. Place your bid in the comment box and it will appear on the item page for all to see. (There may be a short delay.) Enter your name and your bid. Minimum $2.00 increments over the last bid, please. It’s that easy!
Note that bids will appear only on the individual item’s page, not on the main list.
Bidding will start online on Sunday, April 7th, and continue until April 21st at 6:00 PM. If you can’t sleep some night(s), visit the silent auction listing and do some bidding!! You can bid from your computer, iPad, or cell phone — wherever you can connect to the internet.
Participate in the bidding in Trinity Hall after church on Sunday — April 14th and 21st We will have laptops available for you to bid. Or use your own phone!
We will print off Silent Auction lists for persons who do not have computers — they can call Gord Mitchell at 705 571 4096 and have Gord place bids for them.
After bidding closes, successful bidders and donors will be notified. It will then be up to the winners and donors to arrange delivery of the donations.
We are excited about the Silent auction set-up online this year. It will give you greater flexibility– you can bid 24 hours a day and know if you have the highest bid right away.
