Good morning, I am up here today for a Silent Auction Announcement to bring to you,
Which includes everyone in TV Land and all of you folks… in your pew.
Lots of items are coming in, the numbers just continue to Climb
And the Stewardship Team thanks you for giving of your talent, treasure and time.
If you are new @ Trinity and would like to jump on board and help out.
You can be assured that we will welcome your support, without a doubt.
Consider donating a item that highlights a hobby or craft that you like to pursue.
And another part where you can help is by bidding till your fellow bidders say…No More Can Do!!
Let me now share with you some items that YOU could possibly score,
Starting with Muskoka Lake Cruises, Maple Syrup or Beginner Pickle ball lessons… for 4.
It wouldn’t be a silent auction without some homemade goodies for you to buy.
Like butter tarts, cookies, cakes, dinner rolls, and Sally’s famous Southern ‘Pecan’ Pie!!
How about some gift cards, theatre tickets or a handy man for a day,
Or a guided canoe trip for two, on one of Muskoka Lakes or in a Bay.
Throw in some luncheons, gourmet dinners or trips to your appointments around town,
And me thinks you are now starting to get… just what it is… I’m putting down.
We thought a Town of Huntsville Basket would make a awesome new item on the bidding list.
And if you could ask for donations at your favourite local stores that would be, a great… assist.
Last years… 94 items to bid on, made our Stewardship Team want to Cheer,
This year lets go for 100, to honour United Church Canada’s 100th year.
Bidding will once again be available on Line and also some days in Trinity Hall,
And of course Gord Mitchell will always look forward to welcoming your call.
